Chamisa Trail in Santa Fe

Some of the best biking in New Mexico can be found on the trails near Santa Fe. Today, I checked out the Chamisa trail, which links with the longer and fabulous Windsor trail, which will be the subject of a future post.

The trail head is on Hyde Park road before the State Park

You can do a shortish loop on excellent hard packed and well graded trails up a grinding climb to this intersection (or go on to the Windsor trail).
